The world’s unluckiest cricket commentator has almost been taken out by a wayward ball for the third time in his career. Edward Bevan, who has had two near misses at Cardiff in the UK has now had a third at Taunton.
Imagine listening to live radio commentary and hearing "Trego comes down and hits it up towards us, and ... is it going to hit us?” right before screaming and broken glass. You might possibly choke on whatever you were eating and if you’re in traffic you’re certainly driving into someone.
Peter Trego, the offending Somerset batsman, was thrilled with the result, and went on to have a phenomenal innings by all accounts.
These were not from Bevan though, who had to leave the box injured. Somerset went on to win. We're gonna assume Trego was Man of the Match.
